Built Up Roofing
Built-up roofing (BUR) systems consist of layers or mounds of roofing felts, with bitumen or asphalt applied to each and every layer. Built-up roofing is considered to be one of the oldest forms of roofing, yet is also considered to be one of the most durable available.
The multitude of layers provide immense protection and perform immensely in extreme weather conditions. Built-up roofs are strikingly resilient to damage from rain, wind, hail, and snow.
Built-up roofing systems are easy to repair and ideally suited for applications that are excess, or solemnly in use. The surface materials can be coated with paint or other reflective materials to reduce the effects of UV radiation and reduce the cost of cooling and heating within your building.
